Chateau Village is a great location to bring your pet. We have convenient access to Buck Creek Trail, a Wyoming Michigan city park. Chateau Village also has our own walking trail that gives owners and their pets a wonderful place to walk with no cars. Pet owners can take a short drive from Chateau Village to the new “bark park” located in Wyoming Michigan at 1414 Nagel SW, one of the only bark parks in the Grand Rapids area!
Chateau Village Apartments will allow residents to have a cat, two cats, a dog, or a cat and a dog.
All pets must be de-clawed, neutered or spayed, up to date on shots. Must provide proof beforehand to make sure all the requirements are met.
Dogs must be 60 pounds and under to qualify to live here, and we do not allow puppies!
Some of the following breeds we do not accept:
- Pit Bulls (including but not limited to Amer. Staffordshire Terriers, Amer. Staffordshire Bull Terriers)
- Doberman Pinschers
- German Shepherds
- Chow Chows
- Any other breed determined to be aggressive in nature
- We also do not allow hound dogs
A picture of your pet must be taken, either in our office or brought in with the required vaccination information from your vet.
Kent County Animal Control requires all pets living at Chateau Village or any other apartment community, in Wyoming Michigan, be licensed. Please refer to www.accesskent.com to view licensing information.
